The Consultation Process
We’ll discuss your concerns, history, and current functioning, with a specific focus on ADHD related symptoms.
1. PRE-APPOINTMENT QUESTIONNAIRES
Before your appointment, you will complete a brief intake form and several questionnaires about your symptoms, functioning, and well-being.
2. TWO-HOUR CONSULTATIONDuring a separate 30-minute feedback appointment, we will discuss the results and your recommended next steps.
3. WRITTEN SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATIONSYou will receive a brief written summary within findings, clinical impressions, and individualized recommendations.
4. FEEDBACK APPOINMENTWHEN IS ADDITIONAL TESTING RECOMMENDED?
Additional testing may be recommended when the consultation raises questions that cannot be fully answered through interview and screening measures alone. This may include concerns about learning difficulties, memory or cognitive functioning, complex diagnostic overlap, or the need for formal documentation for accommodations.
Depending on the questions identified, additional testing may be available within the practice or a referral may be provided to another specialist.
